Kurzweil 1000 Training

Kurzweil 1000 is generally thought of as a scanning application which turns images of printed documents into computer text that can then be read aloud by Kurzweil's own voices. While the original purpose of the software was to do just this, Kurzweil 1000 has grown over the years into a multi-function application specifically aimed at students since it incorporates excellent note-taking and bookmarking functions, easy reference to external learning resources, playback of audio files (including Daisy books) and the ability to create a text or audio Daisy book from any document.
